Dear Juliet The Musical 2019

a senior project, will be presented and performed by Hampton Roads Academy seniors Cassie Davies, Alex Grigsby, Sarah Helpinstill, and Jill Shoemaker. The performance night will feature a cabaret and an original musical. The cabaret will be the first half of the evening, featuring Alex Grigsby's selections from renowned musicals, such as Rodger's and Hammerstein's and more. Light desserts will be served during a twenty minute intermission catered by senior Brandon Kim. The second half of the evening will feature an original musical entitled written by Cassie Davies and directed by Jill Shoemaker. The forty minute show depicts four young women and their relationships with the same man. Conveyed entirely in the format of letters, portrays the women's psychology as they experience love and betrayal and eventually find their independence.
